LHLL 2022 Season Teams Allocated!

We are super excited to report that all registered players at LHLL have been allocated to teams! The tryout/evaluations, coaches selections, drafts and player placement tasks are very important steps to getting a season up and running. It takes a countless amount of hours to complete these processes, correctly, however with the collaborative efforts of our Player Agent, Shelby Morgan, our Safety Officer, Mel Licon, the Coaches Agent, Sylvester Lomeli and the President, Josh Torres, we were able to get the job done. Additionally, our Uniform Agent, Kristy Torres, has compiled the uniform information for every kid in the league and placed our order with our vendor, V-12 rep. Keith Dunlap. We put ourselves on a really tight timeline to get this part done, to ensure we have all players in the proper uniform by Opening Day.

Many of the required tasks to starting a baseball season are often overlooked or not entirely understood by most people. The process, in its entirety, plays a huge role in the scope of getting to the fun stuff! Like, Playing Baseball! I can say, with confidence, that all board members involved have been afforded a great learning experience and will become better at this "stuff" throughout the upcoming years.

LHLL asks for all parents, players and volunteers to plan on joining us for our annual "field cleanup day", which will take place on Saturday March, 19th at 10am. Maintaining our facility and presenting our complex at its best at all times expresses our pride to all that visit. It is especially important to offer our own kids the nicest and cleanest facility possible, for them to use and enjoy!

You can look forward to a fun filled Opening Day Ceremony at Lions Hondo, which will take place on April 9th, 2022, at 11am. We have planned this event to ensure everyone that attends will have an enjoyable and memorable time! So please make plans to come out and celebrate the start of what is going to be a season to remember!
